ABOUT THE PROJECT

Russian Arbitration Week is a key platform that brings together major arbitration events not only in Russia but across the entire post-Soviet space.

It serves as a meeting point for international arbitration leaders to discuss industry trends, share insights, and expand their professional network. The event attracts top legal minds, offering a space for knowledge exchange and business connections.

Objective

The goal was to develop a strong, visually compelling identity for the event’s digital presence.

The client wanted the design to incorporate an element of Russian culture but without relying on overused clichés. The website had to be modern, engaging, and optimized for various digital devices, ensuring seamless navigation and accessibility.

Solution

To achieve a unique and authentic look, we turned to Russian Constructivism, drawing inspiration from the works of El Lissitzky and Alexander Rodchenko.

This artistic movement, known for its bold geometric compositions, structured layouts, and strong typographic hierarchy, perfectly aligned with the event’s intellectual and dynamic character. The design features sharp angles, a striking red-black-white color scheme, and asymmetrical compositions that add energy and movement. A structured grid system ensures clear content organization while typography reinforces a sense of authority and innovation.

Results

  • The final design successfully captures the essence of Russian Arbitration Week—intellectual rigor combined with a bold, avant-garde aesthetic.
  • The website is visually distinctive, intuitive to navigate, and fully responsive across all devices.
  • The use of Constructivist elements enhances brand recognition and sets the event apart in the international legal community.
